LORD, LET ME DANCE!

Lord, let me dance until my feet are sore

Let me reach to the heavens, ‘til I can reach no more

Let the music sound! Let it reach for the sky!

Let the birds hear it pounding as they upward fly

Let my body bend like the river’s stream

Let it sway towards the ocean as it does in my dreams

Let me dance and dance as I float on air

Let me soar towards the heavens on a musical prayer!
